The frog keepers code
I will not keep frogs above my experience level
I will fully research the species I wish to keep before purchasing
I will respect that frogs are living creatures and I will accept the fact they need time to settle
I will make sure I can afford all the necessary equipment, including ongoing food bills before I purchase any frogs
I will set up the vivarium before I purchase any frogs
I will set up the vivarium to the species needs, not my own desires
I will never overlook the importance of UV
I will not take any risks and will always use safe products
I will maintain the temperature and humidity constantly
I will constantly review my husbandry techniques, and improve them were possible
I will always keep the viv clean and well maintained
I will never house any frogs in unsuitable accommodation for as long as they live
I will replace any damaged equipment immodestly
